        Selection Process:

        

        The selection process for SSC GD 

     

        Constable 2025 involves several stages:

    

1. Computer Based Examination (CBE):

        The exam will consist of multiple choice 

    

        questions covering General intelligence 

   

        and Reasoning, General Knowledge

 

        Awareness, Elementary Mathematics,

       English/ Hindi.

    2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

      . Candidates will have to clear specific 

 

        physical tasks , including running 

    

        long jump, and high jump .

   3.  Physical Standard Test (PST):

        Height , chest ( for male candidates), 

     

        and weight measurement will be taken 

  

        as per the official criteria.

   4.  Medical Examination:

        A thorough medical examination will

    

        be conducted to assess the candidates 

         fitness.

    5. Document Verification:

        The final step includes the verification 

        of documents.

      Department of Forest, Ecology and 

      Environment. Physical Fitness certificate

       The Jammu and Kashmir Service  

       Selection Board is scheduled to conduct 

        Physical Standard  Test  (PST)  and 

        Physical Endurance Test  (PET) for

        various posts of Forest Guard 

        Recruitment 2024 from 1st Fortnight 

        of Oct.2024.

       

      Aspiring to work in the Forest 

      Department in Jammu and Kashmir 

      requires clearing the Physical Endurance 

      Test and Physical Standard Test, which 

      assess a candidate physical fitness and 

     ability to handle the demanding nature of 

     forest duties . Let's look at the specific 

     details regarding PET/PST.

     The candidates appearing for PST and PET

      are required to produce physical fitness 

      certificate to be issued by concerned 

      Chief Medical Officer (CMO) on the day 

       of test.

      Accordingly, the format for the Physical 

      Fitness Certificate is hereby notified as

      Annexure " A ", for information of all the

     Candidates appearing for the PST and PET.

                  What is PET and PST

•    Physical Endurance Test  (PET).

     This test assess the physical stamina and

      endurance of candidates through tasks 

      like running and other endurance 

       activities.

•    Physical Standard Test (PST).

       This test checks whether candidates 

      meet the height, chest, and other body

      measurement required for the post .

         Running 

        25 km walk/run to be completed 

        within in 4 hours.

                             PST       Details

          Male Height = 163 Cm 

          Chest = 84 Cm

            Female Height= 150 Cm 

            Chest = 79 Cm

      The salary range is the 50000 to Rs 70000.
